Managing Director

Executive Leadership

The Managing Director provides overall strategic direction and executive leadership for Rockforce Drilling Services Limited. This role is accountable for company performance, long-term growth, and the quality of relationships with mineral right holders, mining contractors and investors.

Key responsibilities include setting corporate strategy, securing major contracts, overseeing financial and operational performance, ensuring full regulatory compliance (BRELA, TRA, Mining Commission and local content obligations), and representing the company with government agencies, clients and industry partners across Tanzania and the wider African mining sector.

Chief Geologist

Technical Leadership

The Chief Geologist leads all geological and technical aspects of Rockforce’s exploration and drilling programmes. This role ensures that every metre drilled delivers reliable, decision-quality data for clients.

Responsibilities include designing and supervising geological research and mineral exploration programmes, overseeing core drilling and rock sampling procedures, implementing rigorous QA/QC protocols, interpreting geological and assay data, and providing technical advice on resource definition. The Chief Geologist also supports investors and mineral right holders with independent technical assessments and exploration strategy guidance.

Operations Manager

Field & Logistics

The Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient and on-time delivery of all field drilling campaigns. This role bridges planning and execution, ensuring that equipment, crews and consumables are mobilised and managed to the highest standard.

Core duties include planning and coordinating rig mobilisation across Kahama, Geita and Mwanza, managing drill crews and site supervisors, optimising production metres, controlling tooling and logistics inventory, maintaining equipment readiness, and ensuring daily operational reporting. The Operations Manager works closely with clients to adapt programmes quickly while protecting schedule and budget.

HSEC Officer

Health, Safety, Environment & Community

The HSEC Officer champions Rockforce’s non-negotiable commitment to zero harm — protecting people, equipment, the environment and local communities on every site.

This role develops and enforces health, safety and environmental management systems aligned with Tanzanian law and international best practice, conducts site risk assessments and toolbox talks, investigates incidents, maintains OSHA and other statutory registrations, and drives continuous improvement in safety culture. The HSEC Officer also leads community engagement and local content initiatives so that operations deliver lasting positive impact for the communities in which we work.
